107" all bore rebuild + NOS!!
A few weeks ago I was out crusing at about 70mph and broke a valve spring! I was lucky and no damage was done to the engine. I pulled the heads to inspect and didnt find any damage. I took the heads back to Larrys Motorcycle Machine to have the springs replaced and the valve guides checked out. Larry went through the heads and cleaned them up for me and threw in dual coil springs that are setup for more lift.....Just in case.
While its apart, I pulled the jugs and installed thinner base gaskets (Axtell 4 1/8" jugs use base gaskets) to correct my deck height. It was .014" in the hole, its now .004" below. This should bump up my compression slightly and get me closer to 10.6:1 which is closer to the compression ratio I should be using with the R&R cam (10.5:1 minimum). I was about 10.3:1.
Since I have an addiciton, I figured why stop with a minor compression increase.....Why not add more! I am putting a 34hp wet shot of nitrous on it!!
Nitrous nozzles installed in the intake manifold
Fuel pump installed inside the horn cover (horn relocated)
AFR/Lean shut down
Bottle mounted

I'm trying, its actually pretty hard to install this kit on a bike with no room to hide stuff. I was going to mount the fuel pump under the backbone between the battery and the fuse box, but just before getting the drill out I remembered it might not be a good idea to drill into the backbone with main wire harness in it!!
I had to relocate the nitrous nozzles. They are now in the top of the manifold. Not sure what I was thinking mounting them in the bottom, the engine was apart at the time and didnt think to check them. I drilled, tapped and plugged the old holes.

Looks like you're doing a great job concealing as much as possible. Very cool how you hid the pump behind the horn cover.
