Default TC96 oil pump backward compatible?

Will the higher flow TC96 oil pump bolt right into a TC88 with gear drive cams?

Probably not. I think the cam support plate is not the same.

Thanks. I am looking for a higher flow pump alternative to fueling (OMG $$$$)

So far I have found one from a company called V-Factor that looks like a fueling clone (think it is Taiwanese but the Harley one is Chinese I think, so whatever) and also a company called Mid-USA that is supposed to be as good as the fueling and cheaper but I can't find any info online about it.

Basically 3 different indies told me today that if my crank runout is within spec they want to do gear drive instead of the hydraulic upgrade. Pricing everything out, it is actually cheaper to go gear drive, as Eastern Performance has the Andrews whole gear set, install kit, and 26G for $600

If I were to do the SE kit with cams it would be a couple hundred more, and all I am missing on the gear drive is a high flow pump.

EDIT - Also found a pump from Ultima with the same specs as the above two and actually found a solid review of it online.

I probably won't even do the pump now, but if I do a build in the future I may want a higher flow pump.
