I'm undecided as to what pipes I want to go with on my 07 FXDB. I've narrowed down to these but would like to hear your experience or even just opinions.

(in the order in which i'm leaning, and all 2-1)

Supertrapp Supermeg - Tunable, not so loud, different cool racy look
Rinehart - best looking
Thunderheader - top shelf performance, not as nice looking as the others
V&H Propipe - good reports and nice build quality

All have their merits , I'd say the V&H pro-pipe BP or the Rinehart 2 into 1 are the best combination of looks and performance

I have V & H straightshot slipons, with quite baffles.
But.........
I really like the look of rhinehart slipons , with the black end cone & signiture, my only concern is exactly how loud are they?

Vance & Hines doesn't list a Pro Pipe for '06-'07 on their website, do they have it yet (o2 bungs)?
I have a PP on my '03 Dyna and am not real crazy about the sound.

As you can see in my signature, i have an 06' with Vance and Hines, the pipes have the bungs, they were an esy install. The only thing i bought to install them was new flange gaskets just to be on the safe side. They cost me $539.99 from J&P Cycles, that was with the gold club discount, and the shipping was free.

Don't do the Supertrapps.

I do a lot of reading, as I say often. And my reads on the ST are not good.

I personally ran ST stuff back in 90...wouldn't do it again.
