Default Finally chose the right handlebars - Thanks Westcoast T-Bars!

After asking many questions on here, contemplating the good advice I received, and ordering three sets of bars, I finally found the perfect setup for me.

I chose 10" MX T-bars from Westcoast T-bars. Scotty from Westcoast provided me with a beautifully chromed set of bars along with second-to-none customer service. Once I got the bars mounted up I was more than pleased with the riding position they offered; a good thing since the bars are a one-piece construction and don`t offer the ability to adjust the angle of the bars like a riser/bar setup.

Along with the mini-fairing/flyscreen from HD that I added, the bars totally changed the character of my Low Rider. I find working through corners much easier than the apes I had before and I have a lot more control when stopping hard. And to my surprise, the tiny fairing actually does block some wind; there's much less pressure on my chest on the highway.

Looks Awesome! Thank you for posting pics, ive got an 02 lowrider and ive been considering a similer setup. What year is yours? What forward controls? What dash is that? Do you still have the headlight cowl on?

Thanks everyone for the compliments!

Dirknar: My FXDL is an '05 with HD forward controls and pegs. As for the dash, it's the chrome upgraded piece from HD. And yep, the cowl (I assume you mean the headlight brow) is still on there.

Bike looks good. Scotty is a good guy. I had a set of 12" mx bars on my night train and am considering getting them for my new street bob.

Thanks for the info.I want to get rid of my headlight brow but I dont know what to do with the indicator lights.. is the dash a one piece? I cant tell from the pics.. I wonder if they have one for my 02? I like the new lowrider one piece dash, they are much cleaner than the 2 piece that I have, does anyone know if the new style will fit on the older style tanks? even with a few mods? I would probably powder coat anyways.. do you know what part number the fairing is?
Sorry not try to hijack.. Its just that my bike looks almost Identical to yours..lol.

I was on my phone earlier looking at it.. Im on a comp right now and your bike really looks great. Its not a look that you see very much..
