Looks slick! I'm digging the chrome too! I think a nice 2-1 exhaust would finish it up.

I would probably powder coat anyways.. do you know what part number the fairing is?
Sorry not try to hijack.. Its just that my bike looks almost Identical to yours..lol.

I was on my phone earlier looking at it.. Im on a comp right now and your bike really looks great. Its not a look that you see very much..
Hey Dirknar,

No worries, you're not hijacking the thread; I appreciate your comments. One thought I had to get rid of the brow was to go with a side mount headlight (one that has a mount off each fork tube). It's an older look, but does a nice job of lengthening the overall appearance of the bike - something I think works well with the increased rake of the Low Rider. When I was going that route, I found someone on hdforums that used button head LED bolts that he drilled into the headlamp housing for his indicator lights. It was a clean look. Here's the link for the lights: http://www.customdynamics.com/led_button_head_bolts.htm

When you're asking about the dash, are you asking about the piece on the tank that houses the gauges? It is a one piece. I wasn't aware of a two piece on the Low Riders but I am probably mistaken.

The fairing you can find on Harley's website. Just go to "Products" then "Genuine Motor Accessories" where you can enter you bike info in the "Shop by Bike" field. Then go into the body work section I think and you'll find it.

Good luck dude.

Thanks dude. I totally agree on the 2-1 pipe. Starting to feed the piggy bank asap then it's a matter of actually choosing one: RB Racing, Supertrapp, Vance and Hines, Bub, D&D.... uggh, the decisions.

I'll tell ya, even for the crazy amount I have into mine after trying out 2 or 3 other sets to get to where I wanted to be, these bars are worth every penny in my mind. You won't be disappointed.

Your bike looks sick by the way. Great job.

Yeah, they are pretty expensive.. but from all the amazing reviews that I've read, everyone seems to just LOVE them.. so I'll be getting a set soon enough I'm sure.

Those bikes look AWESOME! Nice going!

I am considering a 12" version for a wide glide. I may start a new thread to see if anyone can post pictures if they have...

Rode the season with these bars and never looked back. I love the bars. Finish and quality have stood up great! The positioning that they provide is natural for me; as noted above the bars keep your wrists in a comfortable straightforward spot.

The bars are awesome. I recommend them to anyone.
