Default 21 inch wheel with 90-90-21 tire?

Anyone use this combo? Do you have to make a fender change? Is handling OK compared to stock wheel size? Thanks

I have both, the 90/90/21 2.25 and the 120/70/21 3.5.
No fender mods on either. The 90/90/21 handles alot like the stock set-up.

I'm sure if Ronn and I can fit the 120/70/21 on a 3.25 rim under there with no mods you should be fine with the 90/90/21. It's close with the 120, 90 is a lot skinnier.

Here's a good difference look at the 90 vs 120. This pics with with the stock 19" with a 90.

I'm running a 21x2.15 with 90/90 Metz tire. I like it and it handles fine. It fits under the stock fender with no mods and fills in the fender a lot better so I like it. If I could do it again I would have gone with a 120 on a 21x3.5 but I'm not gonna change the rim for the wider tire.

I run the 90/90/21 Metzeler ME880 and it handles a helluva lot better than the stock Dunlop.

I'm also running the Avon 90/90-21. I like it a lot. Its a bit chunkier than the 80/90 for sure, but as far as handling goes, with a Springer and apes.... it just doesn't really matter what size is up front

Your so right, my post sayin it handles about the same was wrong, but I feel the main differance between a stock set-up with a dunlop,
and a 90/90/21 with a metz, Is the tire its self, Not the wheel size. The Metz is sooo much better in the handling.
The amount of rubber on the road is about the same between the two.
And the 21" looks so kewl..
