I'm not sure which of the before posts you are referring to, but I've had some of the early pretties turn into later uglies. Besides, what if you stick with an early ugly? You've just cemented yourself to a lifetime of ugly.

128auto...Where did you go? Last weekend I rode up to Pemberton, that is a great ride. While I was gassing up there a group of riders asked me if I wanted to join up with them. They were going through to Lillooet and down the canyon. I passed on the opportunity because it would have been another 5 hours. But some day I'm going to do that loop.

Do you live here? Awesome! I rode Pemberton as well, it was a great day, wasn't it? PM me and we can go for a ride sometime in the future. I did Duffey lake and Fraser canyon 2 years ago, 400miles day ride, it can be done in a day. If I got to choose again, I will just go from Vancouver to Lillooet and back, hwy 12 on the other side is kind of rough, you got to have iron butt, didn't enjoy at all.

I'm in PoCo. That suprises me about hwy 12. I have to go to Lillooet a couple of times a year for work. I've always turned off at Boston Bar and went in from the south end. Sitting in the car I've always thought it would be a great road to ride.

Hwy 12 is great to ride, the only things are loose gravel and bumpy road, you got to be careful, otherwise great ride there. We planned to do it on Labor day long weekend, keep you posted.
