Yea I'm very curious as well. You would think that to put that big of a hole by hitting something you would sure as hell feel it. I will try to get a pic of the pan.
glad you didnt lose it and it sure sucks doesnt it, the friday before 4th of july last year my voltage regulator went on my still under warranty nightster, dealer couldnt get it fixed until the tuesday after because they didnt have one in stock and they wouldnt pull one off of a used bike to get me through the weekend.
Curious to see what the hole looks like, have you found out what caused it yet?
Who built your 103?
Not yet. It's at the Salt Lake Harley dealer. I bought it from there and they built the motor so I wanted to have them look at it. The hole is on the right side of the oil pan running from the front corner back.
