i feel your pain bro my thundermax crapped the bed on me sunday sucks big time at least your safe and noticed the oil

Wow, the bike runs fine and you have a 3"X1/2" hole in bottom of your oil pan.
A conneting rod bolt come loose?
Curious as to what caused it.
Glad you handled it well. I would be going ape s--t.

Yea I'm very curious as well. You would think that to put that big of a hole by hitting something you would sure as hell feel it. I will try to get a pic of the pan.

Sure looks like you hit road debris. Good news, quick fix. Bad news, won't be warranty.

Way to go getting off the side of the road safely. Maybe a piece of rebar or something was laying on the and you hit it just right.

There's never a convenient time for this to happen, but yeah a holiday weekend does really suck. Good job keeping it upright.

Not yet. It's at the Salt Lake Harley dealer. I bought it from there and they built the motor so I wanted to have them look at it. The hole is on the right side of the oil pan running from the front corner back.
