Looking forward to seeing what future modifications you make to your bike as well. that is the fun part.! Whew it must be getting late I think I am repeating myself .. time for some sleep.

To each his own, I absolutely love my Fat Bob but the Street Bob is a great bike as well I hope it works out for you.

I too really love my Fat Bob but I did recommend a Street Bob to my son-in-law when he gets back from his deployment. After reading all of the comments on here from people who love their SB, it seems like a no-brainer. I also lost the seat bolt out of my Fat Bob within a week and it vibrated like crazy but a couple of washers in the front motor mount (a tip from these forums) made a world of difference.

For me, coming from a Triumph Speed Triple, the Fat Bob just looked right.

I came to the fat bob from a speed triple also. They look like cousins sitting in the garage. Someone said that the Fat Bob looks like a Speed Triple that let itself go and got Fat. LOL... I sort of resemble that remark! I was 185lbs when I bought the s3... Now I'm over 200.
