Yep, been doing it as suggested (starting it immediately as it's priming) and it immediately fires right up.

I have the same issue with a delay start

I just installed my FuelMoto Power Commander. And like said earlier my bike takes about 6-8 seconds to strat. I wait for the pump prime noise to stop then I hold the start down. I will try to start it immediately after I hit Run Thanks for the help everyone.

Holy cow. I have been fighting a hard start for a couple years. I just tried this and it seems like it works! I'll try again tomorrow morning, but I cant believe it could be this easy. THANK YOU, I have literally spent hundreds of dollars trying to get this solved. You are a genius!
