Default Upgrades for better performance?

Bought my 2010 Fat Bob used with a Vance & Hines big radius 2 into 2 black exhaust installed, but the guy I bought it from said he didn't install a power commander. Had the bike almost 2 months and would like more HP.

Is the power commander the best option for increasing power or are there other upgrades I should be considering?

Also, will a power commander result in decreased fuel efficiency? I tend to average 34-35 mpg.

A PC would not be my choice having had one and now having a ThunderMax with Autotune.

Do you have a high flow AC unit?

don't know what a high flow ac unit is, but as far as I was told the bike was sold stock sans the v&h exhaust.

High flow Air Cleaner. Typically, the consensus in this forum is, you only need a tuner after replacing both the AC and the exhaust which can give you more performance and possibly fuel efficiency.

My Arlen Ness Big Sucker stage 1 air cleaner should be here this week. I have V&H slip on's and now trying to decide between powercommander, TTS or SEPST.

If he got a bigger/higher flow air cleaner to go along with the V&H Big Radius pipes, would he then be best going with Stage 1 or Stage 3?

IMO Switch from Black exhaust to the Chrome ones,, You will see a noticable improvement.

IMHO if you can afford the SERT or tts mastertune or something that doesn't piggy back do it. Less can happen and you won't be standing on the side of the road when the PCV gets wet. Don't ask me how I know this.
