Curious as to weather or not a 110/90/19 will clear the fender mount on my 08 Low Rider. Stocker is the 100/90. It looks like is might clear, but really don't know for sure. I tried doing some searching, but didn't come up with any answers. So now, I come to the experts.

 

Not sure what tire you are looking at, but the stock 100/90-19 D401 is

Both the Stock size Avon and Metz are slightly wider and slightly lower profile while the 110s are closer to the OE diameter and approximately 3/4" wider. So if you have greater than 3/8" on each side of your stock tire then there should be no problems running the 110, when measuring on each side of my ND there is 1/2". I am thinking of using the Avon 110 but I am torn, it seems a little too wide under the stock fender so I might just go with the 100/90 which will fill it out a little bit more and not look out of place under the fender or possibly rub.

 

I was considering the Avon and Mtez and now don't recall if Pirelli had one. I've been looking at so many, it starts to get a little fuzz, if ya know what I mean!. Was serious abut the Pirelli ND 180 rear and either the Metz or Avon 110 front. I'
m thinking it would fill out the fender nicely.

Maybe what I should have asked was, anybody running a 110/90 up front on a late model Dyna and what model bike and brand tire..

 

Pirelli only makes the Night Dragon.in the 100/90-19 I think the Avon and the Metz are your only good choices, you might find a 110 in a radial. but most are sport bike tires. I got only got a little over 6K out of the rear 180 Night Dragon, but it is the best handling tire I have run on the rear so far. I thought I would go back to a 160 since you really can't use up the tread on the 180 and try the Avon Storm 2 Ultra hoping to get better milage and the same handling as the ND. I might get more mileage, but the ND sticks better period as does the front. Another reason I am debating the the Venom up front, will it stick as good as the ND, and it may since it is not the same dual compound as the rear Storm 2 Ultra? I have 9K on the front ND and it is almost at the wear bars so I have to order a tire soon.

 

I've got around or close to 7K on the 502 front and it's about to show the wear bar. I've got about 5-6K on the rear 180 502 and appears to have at least 3K more to go, if I'm lucky. It sounds to me like the Pirelli ND and Dunflop tires may be of similar compound make up, according to mileage wear. I don't want to really mix tires, but have no problem doing so, since most are Bias anyway. I'm trying to find tire deminsions for the 100/90 front on the Pirelli ND, no such luck yet..

The 110 is what I like to run as it seems to handle the tar snakes and such better for me.

The Avon 110 fit fine under the fender of my Street Bob. It just made the fender look too small, kinda of like Oprah with a thong. So I changed fenders, but I'm pretty sure it will fit yours.

 

I'd poke my own eyes out if I had to see that!
