Default rattling sound

I hear a bit of a rattle sound when I am at around 15 to 25 mph. any ideas on what it is????

Do you have removable baffles? Check all covers, I once overtightened my air cleaner cover and pulled the center of the filter out.

Check the rear tail lights?? Mine got loose and would vibrate on decel.

I had this problem, it was a heat shield...as afore mentioned...

Cover under the indicator lights, between the triple trees. Plastic clip holding it in is plastic, junk. It took me weeks to figure out where the noise was coming from.Tim

I had a rattling. It was I lost a nut on the header pipe clamp where it bolts to the engine. 1 of the 2 was still on there. I got the nut at the dealer..$1 for a 9/16 nut????

If you wear a helmet, my helmet visor rattles. It took me a while to figure out it was my helmet visor, and not something on the bike.

Check the headlight also. Mine rattled like crazy but got it replaced under warranty.
