Ya Don't Need The Kit
I have an 06 Low Rider.
The kit has the tire, 2 fender support bars and a few ty-raps.
The bars in the kit are the same as the ones that you use to relocate the turn signals. Or put on the saddle bags. I have two extra sets I'll give someone if they pay the postage.
The only thing ya have to do is cut the bolts off flush with the bars and make sure the TS wires are out of the way.
When I relocated my turn signals, the bars I pulled out looked the same as the ones I put back in.
I bought the 180 Dunlop and had the dealer put it in. He cut the bolts off and I have loved it ever since.

WL, no spacers on the wheels needed, correct? Notice any big difference in handling?Tim

No Spacers, stock wheel, and yea! the butt keeps itself firmly planted in turns and such.
Was a little different feel till I got used to it.
This is a photo of my bars after the turnsignal relocate. I used the bars that were on there. Same size as the ones that came in the ts relocate and saddlebag kit.
The bolts came through about 1/2 inch and would have definately scraped the tire. Once they were cut off flush no problem. View is from the back of the tire looking up into the fender.
I don't think a 200 will go in my fender. there is only about 1/2 on ether side to the metal.

RE: WIDE TIRE KIT QUESTION
I don't see how a 200 will fit...at least a wide glide. I have the 180 and it's TIGHT. I can't imagine it's much different on the other dynas.
It's pretty funny..every time this subject comes up, there's always somebody that chimes in..."I know this guy who did it"....or I'm pretty sure you can do it because someone on this website did it". But not once have I actually seen a photo that clearly displays a 200 tire on an unmodified dyna rear end. So with that...I'm gonna say it can't be done...until someone can prove otherwise with an actual photo (and one that isn't obviously photoshopped)
All I can say is, there aint no way a 200 is going to fit inside the fender on my 06 WG. There's no way. The 180 is practically rubbing the inside of the fender now. A tire that is almost an inch wider will definitely not fit...that I know for sure.

RE: WIDE TIRE KIT QUESTION
All i know is a guy from hogpro says that they have done it and on his web site he has pics of an 06 Wide glide with a 200, and not really sure what he would gain by making it up. Now as far as a 200 being an inch wider i really dont think it is. I dont have the exact specs on the size but there is no way that the 180 is 1 inch wider than the 160 so i dont see how that would be true for the 200. Here is the pic from the site of the 06 wide glide with the 200

As far as the difference in size, but I it was my understanding that the number 160, 180, 200, etc is the size/width in mm (milimeters). That being said, if you convert mm to inches..and this is approximate...but 20 mm is almost equal to 1 inch. Also, my 180 tire is approx. 1 inch wider than my old 160. I know this for sure because I have both out in the garage right now and put the 160 right next to the 180...sure enough...about 1 inch difference. So the same goes for the 180 to 200. I can't imagine how those numbers could represent anything else.

RE: WIDE TIRE KIT QUESTION
Hi Todd,
That's a pretty close conversion but 1" = 25 mm and a bit, so the difference between a 180 and a 200 is just over 3/4" (which is 18 mm). Same holds true from 160-180.
Haven't seen an FXDB out here with a 200 mm rear yet, but the 180 sure looks great and seems to fill out the rear fender without looking like somebody's tried to shoe horn the tyre in....which is also not fun when the tyre expands after riding hard....[]
You've all have some great looking dynas there!
John.
