Default Fat bob seats??????

First i am goin to start off by if this has been posted before sorry. Well for all you fat bob owners i got a questoin. I bought my 2011 fat bob back at the end of april. riding alone i was fine but when the women wanted to come i heard nothing but complaining that the rear seat was garbage. Well in thought to keep her happy when she rides with me i bought a harley touring seat which keeps her quite now which is good because the last thing i wanna hear is that when i am out enjoying my riding on the harley. Well the down fall it looks like this thing is rubbing on my fender which doesnt make me happy. If anyone else has this prob please respond or if anyone has any good ideas on preventing this i would love to hear your thoughts.

ride safe thanks guy&gals

Has the seat mounting rubbers with it to keep it off the fender?

There should be four square rubber pads stuck to the fender where the seat makes contact to prevent that.

Go buy that 3M clear bra and put some down. Done. Can be found at most tint shops. I have some on my bike in the scratch areas. Wet the area with soap and water mix and rub it out with a credit card. Put it in the sun and...done deal.

Either do the 3M clear stuff as mentioned earlier or move the rubber bumpers so that are contacting the fender and bearing some of the load...

Sounds like the bumpers are in the wrong place for that seat. Look at the bottom of the seat and see where it makes contact, put a dab of grease on the seat and sit on it, then put new bumpers there.
