It's the wide pillion that throws it off as the riders seat isn't any wider than the shocks. I have both pillions (regular & wide) and the wide one looks stupid. But comfort for wifey isn't stupid... lmao

Here's a birds eye view of the wide solo w/ regular pillion

So true, but after 500 miles on a stock Fat Bob seat, mine won't ride on anything else...

Man, I'm loving the looks of these seats the more I see them!! I'm 6'4" on a 2011 wide glide. I don't ride much due to work schedule but I love buying crap for my bike....Does the wide mustang move you back any over the stock seat? I'm pretty tall, in fact I sold my street glide and can't ride a softail comfortably. I've been looking at seats and if this thing won't move me up on the tank any or set me up in the sky I may get one! Thanks guys.

I have both as well, and the riders seat on my Vintage Solo is 14" at the seam. And on the Vintage Wide its 16".
Differances at the tank are Solo 8", Wide 9/12".
You really notice the differance when you have been riding the solo, and switch to the wide,
at the first stop your legs go really wide when putting your feet down.. The extra width at the tank really makes your feet placement change.
But you adjust rather quickly.

Mustang Vintage on my '95. It's 13.5 wide not the big 15. Sits you lower and back a bit but my stock seat was a big nasty pillow type. I got mine from biker trends for $175 shipped. But it was backordered and Mustang had to make mine to order.

This looks good!!!!! The wide looks comfy. Haven't been around one though. It does move you back a bit? Does it move you up any? I'm damn tall, need more room.

I have the Mustang Vintage on my 2010 Wideglide. I have no complants about this seat. I chose the standard seat cause I thing it looks best and I have a Bony *** that fit the standard perfect. You can ride all day on one of these. Those are some real Wideglide in the ealier part of this post!

I JUST ordered the LePera Maverick Daddy Long Legs.. mostly cause my legs were feeling cramped and I was getting zero back support from the stock Fatbob seat. It sets you about 2" back and down 1" from stock. I'm 6' /250lbs with a 33 inseam and can't wait to get on it.
I'll do a review when it finally gets here...

Don't know if this info is a little too late, but I'll try to past a pic of my 96 WideGlide.

Oh well ... I'm just an FNG here, so no pic to post
