Default Installed Burly Slammer shocks on Street Bob..Awesome Modification!

Hey guys,

I said a while back I was going to install the Burly Slammer shocks and well today I finally did. I only installed the rear shocks. The Progressive fork kit is laying in the garage. I'll wait till a rainy or perhaps snowy day to tear the front end off. Here are some pics.

As for ride..it's awesome! I think it rides better than stock. The bike feels more solid going over bumps which I like. I rode it pretty hard on a bad road and it was very comfortable. The kickstand issue got me when I stopped to eat. I have a -1" replacement kick stand in the garage and I will have to install it. The bike sits upright a good bit and it was hard to get the kick stand down in the sloped parking lot. My concern went away when I got compliments on it.

Thanks! The fender looks so much better slammed down to the tire versus floating above it.

Your bike is sweet. I like the red PC wheels. I thought about getting red ones but I think I am getting black wheels then paying someone to put lil red pinstripes on them. Thanks for sharing.

Want to buy them in a couple weeks? They might be for sale soon!!

Those bars came on the bike when I bought it gently used....so as far as specs I have no clue. I know the bars haven't been on the bike long...a couple months. I'm not a T-Bar person. They look effin sweet but I'm not into chrome or T-bars. I like a bar that comes to me instead of reaching. Personally, I'd say if my arms were and inch or two longer they would be a lot better. I have to reach a little bit. I pass this big glass building and I look like this riding < since my legs are on forwards and I have a bend to reach the bars..that is why I am going to apes with a little lean my way. The bike came with mids so it wasn't bad at all but now I want something to sit me upright a little bit more.
