Hi everyone,

I just bought an 07 Street Bob and I was wondering if I can add Vance and Hines Slip ons without modifying anything else. I bought an 06 1200 custom in July and did the SE air cleaner, stage 1 and the V&H slipons to that bike, but I am just wanting the louder pipes on the new ride, instead of stock. I can get the slip on's for $194.00 dollars.

If I just add the slip on's, will it cause any problems?

 

I bought the V&H straight shot hs for that same price and had no problems at all with them on my '07 Street Bob. Sound F'n great too.

 

What about the O2 sensors I keep reading about?

 

Can anyone else share their wisdom?

 

I have the V&H slipons and they don't affect the sensor at all. I've even cut the baffles down to increase the volume, without messing with the back pressure.

it's a cheap and easy way to make your bike look and sound better... buy'em and you'll be happier within the hour.
