Was wondering what size and brand the bars are on this FXDC? They fit the bike really well and am looking for something similar....

Thanks

Jamie

My SuperGlide buckhorns came with dimples and after reading the service manual. There were 2 ways of doing them.

1. Cut the wires from the handlebar controls

2. Individually take each corresponding wire from the harness. Then reroute from there.

Im guessing option 2 would suck. But my assumptions is that everybody else just cut the wiring and hide it in the controls or run the splices through the bars.

Thanks
When I installed the Fat bob bars on my FXD I took the connectors off the ends of the wires. It was not fun and you have to remember what order the wires go back into the connector but it beats cutting the wires and trying to rewire the controls.

Does the seat you have on the bike have a driver back rest? Where did it come from? Thanks.

Default Some great looking mods in this thread! Here's mine

I know mine won't measure up to lots of the bikes in this thread but one thing I keep having to tell myself, it's a personal thing, what looks great to one person might not be what another person has in mind for a great mod. The bike to me is like my piece of artwork, it's not going to be finished until it's done but it will always need that one more thing to make it better, then one more thing, then that last little thing and on and on.....

Thing I love most about the thread are the ideas it gives me for those "one more things" to add! Great way to see how others have done it and see how I can do it but make it unique and unique is always a good thing!

Great luck all, watch out for everyone not watchin out for you and be safe! Mods on mine are listed in the sig.
