Default Fatbob 2inch riser ext and tank lift?

I have a two fold ? I think I want to add about two inches to my riser height and possibly do a tank lift. What is available to raise my bars two inches? I am pretty sure that just by eyeballing the clearances the tank lift cannot be done with stock riser settup. Mike

I will let you know in a couple days. I have the 2 inch tank lift. Basically I ordered the wrong size risers to my bars, so I know 4.5 risers with pull back wont work on mine. So I am going to order 1.25 risers with 4 or 5 inch straight.

Mike, When I installed the 2" tank lift the only issue is the clearance of front turn signals. They will hit the tank when the bars are turned to the extreme left or right. The signals "can" be rotated in a way that they will clear (at least mine could) but then they are at a funky looking angle.

A simple fix is to order some 2 inch spacers for the risers. SpacerJim is a guy that makes these spacers. IF you have, or are going to relocate the front sigs, then you won't have any clearance issues.

Good Luck!

It is really easy to check clearances for a tank lift-

1. With bike on kickstand, take the bolt out of the front of your tank.

2. Loosen (do not remove) the bolt at the rear of your tank.

3. Turn your handlebars all the way to the left and raise the tank up 2 inches to check for clearance issues.

4. Turn your handlebars all the way to the right and raise the tank up 2 inches to check for clearance issues.

Here is a 2" Tank Lift

Here are some handlebar riser extensions
