Default T storms !!! Ride on .. or wait it out ?

How many of you ride through thunder storms ? Sometimes it's hard to judge how bad it's going to get as you approach them. I've riden though, but will generally stop if there is some place to pull over.

if i am on a trip, i will generally press on...if i am a hundred or so miles from my destination, i will wait till it blows over and then proceed.

Talking Lightning bolt.

You might want to drag a length of bare cable from the back of your bike, those handlebars are high!

Ride on!

My wife loves to point out that I've spent more miles soaked to the skin with my perfectly good rain gear strapped onto the back of the scoot....because I'll always say "Mmmm...I can make it one more mile, then I'll pull over."

I'll wait it out whenever possible. Gas station awning, restaurant, barn, whatever. I've ridden through storms, but I don't plan to again. If you get taken out by lightning, you'll never arrive, and you'll never ride again.

I use to ride right through them, still do many times. Not as often since I was pelted with large hail while going 60mph on the interstate. I am not worried about lightning or wind or hard rain, but man, hail sucks....and hurts. I usually take a look at the weather on my phone when I stop so generally I am not surprised by the storms.

If I am where I can pull over, I do. I have been caught many times without many options though.
