i know it's probably been asked a million times before, so I didn't want to start a thread on it...I want to go to 12" apes with a 1" riser from the stock '06 lowrider pullback riser/western looking bar combo...possible without extending wires and cables etc, or no?

Its gonna depend on your specific bike from everything ive seen. My 10 WG didnt need any on my 17" Carlinis but i added a few inches to have some slack and just tucked the rest in the frame. Get your bars on and then measure is the best way. If you need extensions then get them. Takes longer but done right.

Yeah what sisson16 said. Best to go ahead and get the bars/risers on the bike then actually see if longer cables is even needed. This makes the install take longer but will insure you get what you need. In my case I went with what I saw other people running and think I went slightly to long on the cables. The bike had enough slack in the back bone for the wires though. After my install the wires had about an inch left in slack, but this also depends on the curvature of the bars you use.
