Remove mid controls and install forward controls without removing primary!!!

My 2014 SB had no such washer. I cut the rod and slid it right on out. Didn't remove primary at all.

Right on thanks. I plan on doing this over the winter and didn't want a random washer floating around in my primary.

Don’t cut anything. If you ever want convert back or sell, no turning back. I have a 17 FXDL, removed mids and installed full boards. I tied my shifter shaft back with a tie wrap, makes shaft flush, I put a poker chip over the spot.
