Yeah but while I was there I saw a pair of the shock tower covers that were discontinued and then got some chrome allen head plug covers ,...so in the end those $12 wires cost me $65,........LOL,... I think we need to start a Harley assessories spending therapy group.

Keith, I was considering painting a bunch of chrome and black stuff on my bike red to match the tins but I opted for anodizing unpolished aluminum parts black instead. So far I've got the levers and battery cover (I fabbed some alum. sheet to replace the chrome one) done, but this winter I've got plans for the triple trees and a couple of other small items. I am very interested in seeing the photoshop results on your bike, should look good, maybe even the frame?

I posted a while back about painting the covers, here's a photo where I have colored the battery cover Cobalt to match the tins, this was done with the Gimp not PSP.
