Default ThrottleMate

The throttle mate is one of the best under $20.00 things you can buy for your bike.

I got a throttle mate and just screwed the thumb-lever onto the plastic star. Works pretty well, but the thumb-lever took some getting used to. If it were a little shorter, it would be perfect.

As an alternative, the Throttle Rocker works great. Its cheap and can rest you hands while on long rides. But since its just plastic and velcro, easy to steal.

Someone gave me a crampbuster before that is similar to that throttlerocker. I had it on the bike for less than an hour. I hated it and it still wouldn't allow me to take my hand completely off the throttle.

I'll give you my crampbuster so you'll have a spare if you are ever around the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. Just let me know.

I use it on long freeway trips like cruise control. Comes in handy sometimes.
