Who washes - if it is a nice enough day to wash the bike it is a better day to ride.

I can't seem to keep out of the rain. My bike won't even start now unless it is raining! Which means, lots of washing. It gets really, really dirty, not just dusty. I use zip car wash soap , a big fuzzy wash mitt, rags, garden hose, synthetic shammy to dry. Various waxes and even lemon pledge for the shine. Its all good. The latest I tried and liked was Lucas slick mist. It smells like bubble gum.

A good micro fiber towel can't be beat, but I still get
the old leaf blower out to get the water out of the hard to reach areas...

I sit in the garage with a cigar, a Captain Morgan & Coke, and my fur kid. While we watch the wife washes all the bikes, the dog sleeps and I smoke and drink. I think she uses soap and water and an old bath towel to dry off.

you should NEVER use a pressure washer! it forces water where it does not belong! i have seen countless bikes fry ECM's from this, never use a pressure washer

A friend of mine just started a new business, washing cars and bike at your home of work place, and this without water ! it’s a kind of gel that evaporate within a minute, he uses a low pressure compressor , the big advantage of this product is that it isn’t conductive, so you can blow that stuff were ever you want without a problem, he did my Buell with it, really impressive result

Spray them down with Simple Green, let it work a few then rinse it off.
Blow dry and ride off into the sunset
