All this talk about washing your bike, and that other thread about pressure washing got me to thinking (and that is dangerous), that the undersides of my fenders and lower frame (the underneath side) were dirty. So off to the local car wash (the kind you do yourself) and spent seventy-five cents to power wash the road grim off from those areas I mentioned above. Wiped it down and came home, where I spritzed it up with Lemon Pledge for that slick shine.

I use Lemon Pledge on the whole bike. Washed about once a month. To wash it I just use carwash soap, garden hose, a bucket and a clean cloth then ride it to dry it.
The Pledge works great for disolving bug guts.

I use Lemon Pledge wet wipes for highlight touch-ups on paint, followed by a dry rag to get the streaks. I only got in this thread because I thought it was funny/interesting what happened just the other day - right after a quick wipe down, a bee came in the garage and within a couple of minutes there were a few more buzzing around the bike. I was getting ready for a little ride so I pushed it out ... and the bees followed!

When you say Lemon Pledge the whole bike, do you mean after the wash or before? Do you just spray Pledge all over the whole bike?

I use it after I wash on everything except the denim paint. Use it on my chrome and gloss back parts.

That is only right if you live in some place called Massachusetts.
