Default How to jack up a Dyna?

I was using my other motorcycle to jack up my SB the yesterday, looks like the jack hits the oil pan, I can slide the jack to the back a bit but it won't stay level, is there some kind of jack adapter you can buy? I almost drop the bike lol.

HD makes adapters for the dyna model: http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US

However if you have a sears red jack you can modify it to lift your dyna without the lift adapters:

+1 on J&S jacks....no adapters needed and the bike is rock-solid on it without any tiedowns.

Thanks for the red jack modification link. I had a PowerBuilt jack, likely similar to Sears. Cut the center bar holding the pads, remounted on the outside with Grade 8 bolts, and all seems well.
