RE: Who Doesn't Like Fuel Injection and Why?
Well,..... I love Fuel Injection as well,..... dont have to worry about any tuning issues when riding in the mountains and extreme elevation changes,.....
Well the only minor negative is that it dont have the cool Harley potato,... potato,... sound but thats just a lil minor issue compared to the reliability of the fuel injection syatem.

Hubby used to be pro-carb and anti-EFI. That is until I got my bike. Mine was EFI. His always took a little work to get started after it had been sitting for the winter and mine would start up 1st turn...not even a hic-up. I have travelled with carb bikes in the mountains and they were sluggish and had nothing but trouble with puking out oil through their air breathers...mine again.... not even so much as a hic-up. My gas mileage is wayyyyy better, too. EFI rules as far as I am concerned! Just so you know...Hubby will never go back to carb.

I think the funny thing is the people who own EFI, like EFI better. The people that own carbs like carbs better. To me, I think the it is overblow. I have ridden both, I think both perform very well. Seems like most people on the dyna page like EFI, most sportty owners like carb.

I just have my carb bikr - so I vote carb!!
My bass and another friend of mine have EFI. They go right out and fire it up while I'm messing with my choke, turning on my fuel, warming my spark, etc. It takes me a minute longer to warm it up - but it sure sounds sweet when it fires.
I would like o get rid of some of my decel popping and other fun "rich" running stuff though..
