Exhaust for street bob ????????
#11
V&H Short Shots. I just installed them a week ago and they are very impressive and everyone else likes them as well. I had many compliments during last weeks Dice Run. I picked them up for $350 shipped on eBay. I got the flat black ones...awesome!! In 1-2 gears they are beastly and in 3-6 gears while just cruising around they really display that authentic Harley sound...love it. Good luck!!

Since you asked, I went from a Softail to my fatbob. Love the Dyna. Not as comfy, but way more fun and a lot more raw (which I like). No counterbalancer for me thanks. As for the firmness, try adjusting the shocks to a lower (softer) pre-load. I weigh about 180 and have it set to the lowest setting. A bit softer and never bottoms out. Shocks also need about 700 miles to break in. Lots of people go to aftermarket shocks.
As for exhaust. I really like my VH big shots. I had a Thunderheader on my Softail and I would do that again in a heartbeat. Thunderheader is a tad mellower than the VH, but both sound great and distinctive.

I like my Bub straightaways. they are baffled , don't sound tinny , have a great rumble without being obnoxious and really kicked up the performance. they are bubs version of a vance and hines longshot style pipe. I got them for 375.00 . Great deal and they are holding up well including the ceramic coating which I just wipe off with a damp rag after they cool. www.bub.com
