Default Another beautiful FL Dyna with 8 pics.

I have been hanging out at my local Indy where he is building a beautiful FL Dyna for a customer. It started as basically a Low Rider with a custom blue paint job, and a bunch of chrome goodies. The owner had the shop do the conversion and it looks FANTASTIC, if I do say so myself. I was worried when he was building it that it would look a tad "off" with the stock fenders and an FL front end, but because he went with custom chrome 19 inch wheels instead of the traditional 16 inch FL wheels, it really has great balance with the Dyna fenders...IMHO. Anyways, just wanted to share a few pics I have taken over that last week as this thing came to life. The owner is so tickled, its silly.

I like it, but that old-school seat has got to go!

Really nice, but gotta agree that it could have a nicer seat.

I so wanna do an FL front end on my bike, but I'd never get past inspection here, so i'll have to satisfy my self with my FL tins project instead..

Yeah, it really is a slick setup. Especially for a bike nearly 20 years old!

That is a combo I haven't seen before. I still love 16 inch wheels, but I have to admit, that balances very well!

I dig it ... kind of reminds me of Ackman1968's bike a little (the color, anyway) ....

I like the louvered coil cover and the horn cover ....

I know Rick took the nacelle off his bike because it would not permit the proper aiming of his headlight ... but, maybe that bike being a Low Rider (with another 1.5 degrees rake) will work with the nacelle ....

The back half of my bike was quite similar--with the stock rear fender--for quite a while ... until just recently ....

I had thought of going with my stock 19" wheel and adapting the stock front fender for quite a while before pulling the trigger on my project ... so, looks kind of like I had first envisioned mine ....

Very nice job ... hope the owner enjoys it ... I suppose this means now that he's done with this customer's job that you're next, Neil ...???
