Crap - May have to take the LONG way to Daytona some day!

I usually travel in CO, NM, AZ, UT, WY, SD, and MT. No helmet laws, so I have been spoiled.

Going to Canada this summer, I should probably look into that! lol

EDIT: Just looked it up. CRAP Gotta haul a damn helmet across 5 states just to ride in Canada for an afternoon!

 

Of course, if I get a ticket and never go back, they aren't going to invade the US to find me!!!!

 

ZOX makes a really low profile helmet you can pic up for about 50 bucks. i am with you on the helmet issue. can't stand them. but i am moving to georgia in september so i need to get a new one. had mine since 2007. scratched all to hell and been dropped more then a couple of times.

I used a daytona Hawk helmet before I picked up one of their 3/4s. It's pretty light and not overly bulky so you don't look like a mushroom too bad. The hawk is the polo style, I like the brim on it for when I was riding into the sun. They have the regular halfs as well. Only switched to a 3/4 cause the wind noise was bothering my ears too much even with a doo rag over my ears and I don't care for ear plugs.

 

I got a cheap, light, flat black beanie helmet from HCI that I only wore once or twice. I'll sell it to you cheap!

 

Outlaw helmets make a carbon fiber 1/2 helmet, you can order one from leather up for about 70 bucks, their about the smallest dot helmets on the market now.

 

Just had two shipped to me last week. One for the wife and one for me. Really sat funny on both of our heads. Major mushroom look I wasn't expecting from all the research I had done before purchasing. Must be our head shape.

Ordered a Vega XTS for the wife, which should be hear in the next day or so. I'm considering going with a Daytona.
