I have the memphis shades one on my FXD. It's just the outer part of the fairing, no radio no speakers or slots for them. Allows it to fit with the factory speedo.

You should get a few answers about Dynas with batwings. You can always do a search.

I have the new MS Dyna batwing fairing on my 2009 FXD SuperGlide. It does not have an inner shell so no radio or speakers and such. I like it a lot.

Bags are Honda Valkyrie using Shovelhead mounts. Required mods.

Related questions for those of you that have one:

How's buffeting behind a batwing compared to a standard HD QD?

In the pictures I've seen on FXD's the speedo looks like it might be partially obscured by the fairing. Is it?

On the empty shell batwing have you found ways to mount additional bags etc for storage?

I had to cut a notch in the bottom of the windshield to clear the top edge of the speedo, this was just for adjustabability tweeks. Buffeting is much less than with the HD QD much less up draft. I have a 7" windshield, will be changing to a 9" latter this summer that should cut down the little it of buffeting that I am getting now. MS makes a bag set for their fairings, I am going to try to get the HD 2 bag unit to work on my fairing, it comes off my HD QD Touring windshield. I have pictures if my current setup in my profile albums.

KYDAV pretty much covered it.

Buffeting, I too had to go up to the 7" shield. I'm 5'6" so if your taller you may need a taller windshield since you kind of sit up on a Dyna. I also have the lowers from Memphis shades for it.

The speedo is fine in the empty shell BW from MS. As for a bag, I looked at some cheap ones at a local indy, but the holes didn't match up and it was a tad long. You can order the one from MS or you could modify one to work I think. I want to try and mod the HD two bag one myself.

Also, for tunes if it is important, I mounted 2.5" cycle sounds speakers to the quick detach brackets on the fairing. I'd go with the bigger 3" speakers if you add some. 2.5s just aren't loud enough when I'm at highway speeds and sound isn't that great when you have to crank it. Narrow sweeper bars w/ stock risers looks and feels pretty dang good too.
