total teeth in belt pulley on rear wheel?
All the ***** on my drive belt are split 90% of the way through from the pull side of the ****, with some wear to the pull side of the ***** as well. I only have 45K miles on the belt and trying to figure out why it has failed so quickly. I noticed that the pull side of the teeth on my rear wheel pulley are worn as well (with less miles on it then the belt). I counted the number of teeth on the pulley and counted 66 total teeth. Is this the appropriate number of teeth? Or am I over thinking this and is this wear just normal?
Just in case there are other factors that may play into the answer. I have a 2008 SB with HP/TQ numbers seen in my sig. I also have a 200 metzler on the rear, weigh 240 lbs and do occasionally use near all the torque available...

Thanks, someone else told me they thought the same thing, but wanted to check on here. I will be calling Renegade Wheels tomorrow to determine if what I am seeing on the pulley is actually wear and if it is normal, what the expected life is on a pulley, etc.
I plan on replacing the belt myself. It was unusual to find that the 2 local dealerships didn't have a belt in stock. So will have to wait until Saturday (I have to work all day Friday) to replace the belt. Will try to post pics of the old belt and pulley tomorrow.
