Default Fat Bobs with 16" Spoke Wheels

So I'm looking at getting new wheels for my Fat Bob. I want to keep the beefier look of the 16 inch wheels and would like to see if anyone has pics of spoked wheels on their Fat Bob. Anyone got pics???

I would love to see that. I think it would look really cool with gloss black rims.

Spoked wheels crossed my mind also, but then you need to start using tubes. Plus, I'm not sure, with 16" wheels, whether the impact would be the same given the disks hide most of what you want people to see (unless you go with a single rotor).

Having said that, you could take advantage of having different colored rims (e.g. red) to make the wheels pop.

I've seen a few pics of FB's with 18' spoked wheels - they look good, but it dramatically changes the look of the bike.

This one has an 18" and maybe a 19" or 21" front

This is actually a Street Bob with a Fat Bob front end. 16 inch wheel from an FL on the front. Rear wheel is a 16X5.00 rim from a 2010 Road King that I re-laced to the Dyna hub.

Eric,

I unfortunately haven't seen any fat bobs with beefy spoked wheels. I do remember this street bob https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-glide-models/588098-cross-bones-wheels.html.

He used crossbones wheels. This may end up working out for a fat bob, but I have no idea. I could be completely off base. I hope this helps.

PS. Hopefully we can get a BAHR ride going pretty soon.
