Default Replacement seat preference

I'm preparing to replace the OEM solo seat on my '09 Dyna Super Glide... and need your input. I had been leaning toward H-D's Sundowner™ Deep Bucket Seat... but I've been told that there some better alternatives out there from Saddleman... Mustang... and others...

I would greatly appreciate any/all feedback and recommendations.

Thanks.

I've been thinking about a new seat as well...but I want a solo. One that sits me back another inch or two.

Mustang vintage solo, and it's matching passenger seat if you need to go 2 up

Mustang wide, buy it solo and you can add the passenger seat if you want. I switch back and forth in a minute to suit my day's ride. The wide seat is comfy and has a rear rise to it that keeps me planted during hard upshifts.

I have a Mustang vintage wide with a back rest. I never question if I should be looking for a different seat. I just spent 8 hours on it 2 days ago from Tampa to Atlanta. Not once was my seat selection an issue.

I was running the sundowner solo, which is very comfortable. I decided I needed a back rest, and now have a mustang wide with detatchable backrest. It's really nice, love it.

Default Mustang Solo

I have the mustang solo and a mustang fastback. I bought the solo when I rode my Street Bob from Cincinnati to California. The removable backrest was great to have. I guess it depends on what you are looking for - "the look" vs. comfort. And you can add a passenger pillion to the solo.

When I had a sportster, I had bought the Mustang Day Tripper solo with passenger pillion. I remember with that seat, it did move me back a little. May be someone has this option for the Dyna and can tell if it will move you back.

I have the Sundowner 2-up for longer rides and the rare occasion I have a passenger. It puts me a little closer to the bars and a little higher up. I don't mind either. It is a very comfy seat; however, it doesn't really flow with the lines of the bike. It would probably look a little better on my bike if I had a backrest.
