Default axle tool: 28mm socket=18" crescent wrench haha

i needed to get my rear wheel off last night so i could get a new tire installed.
but i couldnt find a 28mm socket and was to lazy to go buy one so i used this badboy (18" crescent wrench)




any tips on the rear brakes....im due to change em out and have never done em yet...

How are you going to torque it? Sounds like you need to buy some tools AND service & parts manuals.

good thing you used a metric crescent wrench.

people act like this **** is rocket surgery...these are glorified tractors and anything more than 2 sticks and some bailing wire will damn near suffice to disassemble and reassemble one entirely

Thats what I use. I only torque motor/gasketed parts. Haven't had a wheel fall off yet.

ill put the magilla grip on that fv#k%r just like i have every other time ive done this...it aint rocket science....

Dont worry about the torque. You know how much effort it took to remove it, so use the same amount to put it back on.

For the pads,stick a big fat screwdriver between the pads, twist to return the piston to bottom out, then remove the pin and the pads drop out.
