Learn to ride defensivley so you don't need the horn or evasive action.....its clear you do not have a girlfriend or you would need it for when you pull up outside her house, cigarette dangling noncholantly from lip, sound horn, she runs out, jumps on bike and you roar off in a cloud of your own cool

make sure you HOLD the horn well, if you just hit it with a ratchet, you run the risk of chipping off a little bit of the engines black powdercoat.. as me how i know

2nd off.. i replaced mine with a black wrinkle one, looks sweet, and still allows me to beep at the girlies out running/walking

Don't forget to get the "horn broke, watch for finger" sticker.

Me too... you made me laugh at that one... "pissed off left turn signal" I've got to remember that one.

Most of us use the horn REALLY rarely... if at all. The thing is though.. being a superstitious Irishman.. one thing you can count on, is that if you do take it off you'll end up wanting to use it. That's just the way things work.

You won't need it until the day you take it off. I just pulled mine off and put it on the rear tire splash guard. Out of sight now and no wiring had to be cut and extended for this one!
