Retail/Trade 2008 Dyna! NO WAY

The trade in $$ is roughly 2/3 of what they need to sell it for. They need to make money or go out of business. Where would we all be then? (at the Honda dealer?) They were giving you a fair deal in my opinion. Remember, you had a lot of fun on that bike and that is worth more than the difference you paid and then sold it for.
I am at the point where I want 2 bikes, one for touring and one for everyday. I could never be without my Dyna but I also want my comfort when going from ocean to ocean.
P.S. I paid $7400 for my 2008 Street Bob (in my sig pic) in Dec 2009 with 1,900 miles on it. It had a bent front wheel, dented front fender and bent handlebars. None of which I was going to keep anyway.

I think o would do 8500 trade, but that's just around here, they offered me 7500 in 09 for my 08 with 3000 miles at the time which I had bought from them 6 months earlier for 11500, I got a good deal, but wasn't about to get bent over almost 5 grand if you include taxes and such, so o decided to keep it.
I had my bob for sale for 10 for a while with no offers, but maybe that is just the market here, finally decided I'm stuck with it

Depends on where you live...the economy in Houston and the surrounding areas is good.
