Has anyone here converted their 88 tc to a 95. My bike is coming up on 40,000 miles and I'm going to get the tensioners done. Was thinking while in there might as well put in in cams and bearings. Then started to think why not upgrade the motor a bit. Was just wondering if it is worth the money. Also has anyone in the San Diego area used Cycle Visions for any major work?

Yep, and with 40k I would do the bottom end also. My 01'WG I did a 95''. Weisco pistons S&S gear drive cams, head work, rollers and hot ignition. I was putting out about the same as the above poster.

 

My 2000 FLTRSEI 95" Stage II came from the motor company with pistons, 203 cams, a download and no headwork. 88,000 miles later I'm still in love with the torque particularly since the recent install of gear drive Andrews 26 cams.

Reliable, smooth, 45 mpg consistently. My favorite HD motor.
