Default Will this damage my bike?

Hello everyone...my first post here.

I just bought a 2008 FXDWG. I want to install V&H Big Radius 2 to 2 and D&M Spear A/C. Will it damage my bike if I install these parts then ride to the dealership for a dyno tune? Its about a 45 minute ride and I have no truck or trailer. Thx

No, it won't hurt your bike but it won't run optimally either. I'm assuming you're also getting a tuner if you're getting a dyno tune done? Or are you actually just getting a download from the dealer?

Might want to consider a Tuner with auto tune .. Ain't cheap but will get far better results than a dealer D/L

I got the EFI Super Tuner, SE Pro. Not sure of its exact function but I do know it wasnt cheap. Im just a bit worried about being too lean and burning up the motor. I think I will go with changing the A/C in the parking lot. The stealership quoted me $2600+ for these mods, which I thought was too high. The parts guy wont even talk to me anymore after asking him if I can buy the parts and have them install and tune so I decided I will do the install too.

How do I know if my tuner is "auto tune?" Total EFI newb here...

I hesitate to recommend an EFI Tuner as will start a debate as which is best but for myself use a PC V with Auto Tune .. TMAX is also a good one, need to do some research on that before decide whats right for you ..

A new dealer might not be a bad idea either.

Ditto. It is recommended to ONLY change one thing at a time, then ride, and let the bike re-calibrate itself.

Won't the ECM recalibrate itself to account for the exhaust change anyway (without the air cleaner change)?
