Default Two up seat on street bob

So I just picked up my 2011 street bob, I noticed the little black plug in the spot where the two up seat will screw on. When I pulled the plug, its just an empty hole with no threads..... do you have to buy something to attach a passenger seat ln this bike?? I know on my sports there was a screw already in place for the other seat.. thanks for any help.

you have to get a new nut and nylon locking ring to put in there. Its only a few bucks at the harley dealer. Sorry, i dodnt know the part number. Its easy to put in. put it on a ziptie, thread the ziptie through the hole and pull up on it to keep it in place while inserting the locking ring then just let the ziptie fall through.

(A FENDER/SEAT NUT KIT). check Motherwell at http://www.motherwellproducts.com/FE...wl-2000-16.htm

There is a trick to putting them on; with little space between the fender and tire, I used a large plastic tie to string it through.

Good pick on the Bike.

yup, they usually come with new two up seats from harley(if your still looking to buy one), and if you get the kit like stated above (at least the harley one), it will have the extra long ziptie included.

My Mustang passenger seat came with the threaded insert and metal circlip to lock it in place.
