Does the $1290 include a jar of Vaseline and do you get to keep it?

I didnt pay one thin dime for freight or setup. I bought my 2010 at the end of the riding season in texas but I got it for 1500 under MSRP and no fees. Wheel and deal, if you dont get the deal you want walk away. There lots of dealers and even more people selling 1 year old used bikes. There is no reason to be pressured to pay more than is fair.

when I bought my bike I ended up 480 miles away from home. I spent a whole 12 hour day calling HD dealers. Some of these guys completly floor me. I got answers from 11,500 to 17,000!!!! My bike is a 2009 dyna street bob. I paid 11,500 for mine, then they gave me 2 free shirts, and 500.00 cash dollars for sales tax. I really couldn't complain. I will always buy my bikes and recommend everyone looking to rochester harley in rochester mn. great guys!!!

The last new Harley I bought back in 04 the set up was $225. And I thought that was high at the time. Shop around. I priced bikes at five dealers before I found one willing to deal.

I bought my 2011 Wide glide last fall for $1,000 under MSRP, no set up, not freight, and full MSRP on my trade. I never had any intention of paying MSRP let alone set up or freight. I felt like I made an okay deal, but the dealer did get another $2k from me for my stage 1 and other bits and pieces. My advise, go in on the last day of the month, bargain hard, and be ready to walk.

I contacted several dealers through the internet. Got them competing with each other and ended up $1000 under msrp out the door. Easy to do nowadays.

Dealer full of it, I was at a dealer getting some warranty work done the other day when they got a shipment of bikes in. They come already preassembled now, no more crate, tied down to a skid. I watched, on the touring models all they had to do was attach the windshield, take some plastic protector off the chrome, 15 minutes later it was on the showroom floor, don't sound like $1200 to me, must be where most of the profit comes from. Lol.
