I've got a Magnum black pearl brake line and a HD black diamondback clutch cable. They look identical to me and very nice. I'll try and get a pic up.

I'll try to get some tonight.. I was undecided also about the cables, but since mine has some chrome I went with the chromite, and so far don't regret it.

I went back and forth with this as well. Based on your motor, exhaust and such...I'd say Chromite. Or at least that's the way I went. Can't post any pics from my cell phone. But if you check out my completed album in my profile, theres some good shots of the cables appearance on the bike. Good luck with whichever you choose.

FYI: Magnum is less expensive than HD cables, and the HD guys at the local shop told me magnum cables were better than the HD ones in chrome and black. And after seeing them, I agree. Also, magnum will resize any cable you send back if you think they're too long for like 10 bucks. I wanted two of my cables trimmed a couple inches to clean up the look, sent them back, and they trimmed them the day they got them. I had them back in 5 business days from the day I sent them out. Good customer service.

i just did 16" apes as well, and i chose magnum black pearl. Your bike has a good mix of black and chrome, and i've always tried to avoid 'over chroming.' my 2cent

sig pic is old.
