Well i have been trying to find the annoying drip under my primary, so i cleaned the inner primary, made sure it was very clean, took bike out for a ride, looked underneath and behind and no oil running down , so i decided to pull the drain plug to let all the primary oil out and was going to replace the gasket,then i noticed that the drain plug looked exactly like the tranny plug.I call my buddy at the dealer and i am told that the primary is a tappered plug and the tranny and engine oil has an O ring.Well i had an O ring on my primary.I get the correct drain plug Tappered that is, but it won't screw in, the previous owner really screwed it up, now i need to replace or repair my almost new chrome primary.At least i found the problem for my 2002 FXD
