Default Indy hours to install a 103" kit

I live in a small town and I'm just wondering how many hours the average person has paid to get an Indy to install a 103 kit w/ cams in a Dyna or similar softail. I have one for sale and I've got a lot of Craigslist interest and everybody wants to know how long it would take somebody else to put it in. It must be a lot because they never phone back haha. I know you're thinking, "why don't you phone the indies yourself", but I'd like an hour estimate from some who live in a bigger city with more competition please.

I have fitted one and if you are also doing cams (and why wouldn't you?) you could do it in 6 hours...some people may take longer or add a coupla hours for contingencies. I used SE heads so there was no time spent prepping the old cylinder heads or cleaning off traces of head gasket.

I didn't do any messing about like claying the heads or measuring valve interference because I know an Indy in Wellington and they had fitted one before and said the clearances would be fine with 255 cams. So add an hour if the wrench decides to check all the clearances.

My 6 hours didn't include Dyno time as I outsource dyno runs on fuel injected bikes, I don't dyno bikes with a carby.

Hope this helps.

The local dealer charges $600 in labor for installing the 103" kit. They recently had a $1000 special (from $1300) that was half price for the labor, bringing the labor down to $300. I'm sure that this kit didn't include the cams. That's all I know, just info from a guy at work who was considering having it done. He didn't know anything more about it.
