Hillside 107" in the works

Hey whats up, just wondering how you made out since we have pretty much the same builds just wondering how your tune went and how she rides?

^^Thanks. The scoot is still at Joe's Cycle being tuned. I dropped it off on Friday late. Obviously with Memorial day weekend he probably didnt start until Tuesday. Joe said I would have it back by Friday, which will be nice so I can break it in over the weekend. He was a little skeptical about the Martin Bros. pipes and said they could end up costing me up to 10/10. I guess we will see.
Any recommendations on break in? I've been told to ride it "normal", just dont keep a high rpm for an extended period of time. Then dump the oil after 500 mi and I'm good to go. The dyno tune should help with initial break in, I just dont want to hurt anything, any suggestions appreciated. I'll post the chart as soon as I have it.

I still have my Rinehart 2>1 which produced awesome power with just a cam. I really like the look of the Martin Bros. pipes though, and with the BCT monster baffles they sound mean. I guess I will wait and see how they perform and make a decision then. They do have a "power chamber" similar to V&H design to help with scavenging and reversion supposedly. As long as the curve looks good on the chart if I lose a few points I dont care. If they cause an unwanted dip I will probably have to dump em.

Picking it up tomorrow. I spoke with Joe this afternoon and he said I was in the 120's and he's not done with the tune yet. He did say the pipe was kind of a bitch to tune. I'll post the sheet and final numbers as soon as I have them. I'm happy with hearing 120, especially without a 2>1 pipe. Cant wait to ride this thing.

Looking forward to seeing your final numbers. Seems plenty impressive so far.
I'm gathering parts to do the Fuel Moto 107 combo on my bike. Here's a fantastic thread on their 96" bored to 107" combo with stock heads and the Wood TW-555 cam. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...fuel-moto.html
Seems FM and Hillside both have their ducks in a row on these builds.

can't wait to see your numbers... I am getting a similar build done soon and they told me the same thing regarding the numbers you were anticipating. Mine won't be for a couple of months. I finally got back on mine tonight after 3 weeks on the lift and know how good it felt. So I can imagine how happy you're going to be to be back on your bike, especially with those numbers.
Don't forget to post your results/feelings haha
