I've got an older Pro SE 2-1 on an '04 FXDP. Been think about ceramic coating black. They info it's much better then powder coat, esp. where heat is applied.
do you have a pic of your pipe. I've been looking for the older SE 2-1 for a while with little luck. I had one on my sporty and loved it. wouldn't mind replacing my t-header with one if I could find it.
I went from the Rhineheart 2-1, to the Vance & Hines Pro Pipe High Output, and got it ceramic coated by Xtreme Powder Coating in Oxnard, Ca. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. The ceramic coating makes the pipe run cooler, I was able to touch the pipe without being burned. Here are some pics.
Very nice looking bike/pipes. Don't get the tach and shift light though. How do you ward of ..busa's etc from trying to race you?

The tach/shift light allows me to get to my highest RPM while racing without doing harm to my engine. Yes racing. My bike is built to be able to keep up with most street bikes, and blow away most harley's. Half the fun of having a bike like mine is walking all over another bike who coulda swore his bike was the sh**!!
So to answer your question, yes I love the attention!
