Just put the same pipe and shields on my bob and I notice that you also have the mid controls. How did you mount the shields with your mid mounts. I just posted a thread this weekend about what a hastle I had with these shields because of the mid mounts. V&H says you cant use these shields on dynas with mids. I had to shim mine to make them work. I was that or use a dremmel.
Looks good. But then again, I am a bit biased.

Never mind. I guess you're not running the heat shields. Good luck with that. These pipes are HOT!!!

Guess I didn't pay close enough attention. You had them coated. Man, wish I had the $$ for that. Wouls have save me a lot of hastle. Enjoy!! They look great!!!

Ya the coating makes a BIG difference. I was able to touch my pipes and not pull my hand back from it being to hot after riding it home. Well see how much difference the coating makes in performance. I should have a new dyno sheet by this Wednesday.

Great looking scoot!!! Real clean. Pipe goes well with it and the color is awesome.

I've got an older Pro SE 2-1 on an '04 FXDP. Been think about ceramic coating black. They info it's much better then powder coat, esp. where heat is applied.

My '04 FXDP is all black, from the factory, including motor and trans. So black is the way for mine.
