Default Oil Change after Lowering and Jiffy Stand Mod

Hello, I am about to change the oil in my before heading to the beach. This will be my first oil change since I lowered the front and rear and did the jiffy stand mod. I'm sure my dipstick will not be accurate since the lean angle of the bike has changed alot.

The service manual calls for 2 1/2 quarts with a filter. Will I be ok adding this amount and not worry about the dipstick reading?

Thanks for the info.

Ok thanks, I've been stressing about that, especially since I am going to be in some HOT stop and go traffic at the beach.

Then invest in an oil cooler too.

If you lowered the bike AND did a jiffy stand mod isn't the lean angle the same?

the dipstick is designed to allow you to check the oil level upright or on the jiffy stand.

I do have a little tweeking (grinding) I need to do on the kickstand before I leave. I think I can get it to lean a little further over.

Just a quick recap for my piece of mind.

I drained the oil, changed out the filter and added 2.5 quarts of oil. So I am good to go?

Thanks for the info guys!
